The stone bridge of Saint-Claude, in the Jura department, is an arched masonry bridge which crosses the river Bienne. It was built between 1860 and 1862 and inaugurated in 1905. Composed of six arches extending over 360 feet (110 m), it dominates the river from the top of its 98 feet (30 m). Its construction facilitated the connection with the north of the region and allowed the urbanization of the right bank of the Bienne.
