The highest point of the Massif de Mont-Guillaume

In the background, behind the Lac de Serre-Ponçon and Saint-Michel islet, looms the silhouette of the Tête de l'Hivernet. This summit with steep slopes mixed with boulders and scree is the highest point of the Massif de Mont-Guillaume et l'Hivernet at 9,265 ft (2,824 m) above sea level. It is located in the area of the Parc National des Écrins.
