Nestled in the vast estuary of the Seine, the port of Honfleur deploys three basins - the Vieux Bassin (Old Basin), the fishing port, and the river port - devoted to different activities of the city. The Vieux Bassin (photo) is the oldest of the three. It houses the city's marina and offers eighty berths, thirty of which are dedicated to visitors. It also hosts the Cercle Nautique (Nautical Circle) that organizes numerous annual events, including the Fête des Marins (Sailors' Day).
