With about 100,000 members, Lenca people are the largest indigenous group in Honduras. These artisans of the earth live mainly in the departments of La Paz, Lempira and Comayagua, in the south-west of the country. They perpetuate the gestures of their ancestors through subsistence agriculture but also pottery and weaving, for which they are famous.
