La maison Pavie tient son nom de l’un de ses illustres occupants : Auguste Pavie.
Surnommé « L’explorateur aux pieds nus », premier ambassadeur de France au Laos et ministre plénipotentiaire, il y est né en 1847. De 1872 à 1895 Auguste Pavie a parcouru le Siam et l’Indochine, du Vietnam au Laos en passant par Angkor et Saïgon.
Un jardin calme et ombragé permet de s'y relaxer au mileu d'une décoration asiatique .
