The eastern green mamba is one of the most venomous snake on the African continent. Its neurotoxic and cardiotoxic venom is very potent. Unlike the black mamba, that is rather terrestrial, it spends most of its time in the trees where, thanks to its green color, it perfectly blends into the foliage.
