The Rayol estate is a protected natural area of 20 hectares located at the foot of the Maures massif and facing the Hyères islands, in the Var department. The landscape designer Gilles Clément designed the 'Jardin des Méditerranées', a veritable 'planetary index' of regions of the world which are biologically similar but geographically distant. Walking there is therefore an invitation to explore the botanical landscapes not only of the Mediterranean but also of California, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Chile...
