In Haute-Corse, the upper valley of Golo was shaped by the namesake river. It nestles between Cinto and Rotondo, the two most important massifs of the island. On the rocky walls of the Gorges, the paths show an ancestral pastoral tradition. For centuries, they were used by shepherds during transhumance and by mule drivers who supplied these wild landlocked areas.
