Legal rights for Nature
Panama (Central America) commits for its biodiversity. A law has just been promulgated recognizing nature's right to exist, to persist and regenerate its cycles, its right to conserve the biodiversity and the right to be restored after having undergone or directly influenced damage caused by any human activity. This law compels future leaders to respect the rights of Panama's ecosystems. Photo credit: Chema
