The Mont-Dore skiing area

In the Puy-de-Dôme department, the bottom of the Mont-Dore skiing area, on the northern slope of the Puy de Sancy, is more oriented towards beginners. It comprises several green pistes, while the top of the area offers more technical red and black runs as well as off-piste lanes. A fairly narrow blue piste connects the upper and lower parts of the Mont-Dore skiing area.
