Of the three bell towers that once crowned the large transept of the abbey church of Cluny III, only the octagonal Eau Bénite (Holy Water) bell tower remains today. Visible here, it rises above the dome of the south transept. The square Clocher du Chœur (Choir Bell Tower) located on the central crossing and the Clocher des Bisans (Bisans Bell Tower), the other octagonal bell tower of the northern crossing, were destroyed during the French Revolution.
