The quays animated by the sale and tastings of the Fish Market are the oldest part of Trouville-sur-Mer in the Calvados department. Indeed, it is from this small fishing port dating back to the Middle Ages that the city developed in the 19th century thanks to the fashion for sea bathing and the frequentation of a small group of painters. The starting point for sea trips, the quays also allow strolling along the Touques that flows into the Channel between Deauville and Trouville. Lined with many cafes and restaurants, they host the main local events and celebrations.
