Rue des Forges in Dijon in the Côte-d'Or department connects Place François Rude to Place Notre-Dame, whose eponymous church's jacquemart and bell tower appear in the background. Located in the heart of the historic city, it concentrates on a few meters several medieval heritage treasures. They include the Hôtel Chambellan, the Maillard house, also called Milsand, the Hôtel Aubriot, and the former Hôtel de Rochefort or Hôtel Morel-Sauvegrain.
