Its wings are too small compared to the weight of its body. For this reason, the bumblebee should not fly. Scientists call this the bumblebee paradox. After several decades of research on the subject, scientists have noticed that the bumblebee beats its wings very quickly (200 beats per second!), thanks to it a storm of air allowing it to rise and take flight.
