The Queen’s balcony

0
The Pierre Boulez Hall of the Philharmonie de Paris has exceptional acoustics with a reverberation time of 2.3 seconds. Wherever they are placed, the spectators are immersed in the heart of the music and can hear each instrument with great precision. Suspended balconies are part of the room’s acoustics. The lower basket balcony is very similar to the “Queen’s balcony” in the English-speaking world. It offers a bird’s eye view of the entire orchestra and is a delight for music lovers who can observe the conductor’s every move.
