0
Facing the Eiffel Tower, on the right bank of the Seine and to the west of the capital, extends the 16th arrondissement of Paris. This 1955-acre (791 ha) arrondissement is bordered to the west by the municipalities of Neuilly-sur-Seine and Boulogne-Billancourt as well as by the Bois de Boulogne, which it includes. To the north extend the 17th and 8th arrondissements, while the Seine constitutes the eastern and southern borders. Highly residential, the 16th arrondissement is the greenest district of the capital thanks to the Bois de Boulogne. It is also home to many embassies, consulates, and museums as well as renowned places such as the Trocadéro, the Maison de la Radio, the Jardin d'Acclimatation, the Parc des Princes or the Roland-Garros stadium. It had 165,523 inhabitants in 2019, hence a population density of 20,926 inhabitants/km².
