The GHM deburring workshop
0
0
The GHM foundry in Sommevoire continues the tradition of cast iron art that adorns the streets and squares of French and foreign cities. In the deburring workshop, fountain tubs, statues, Wallace fountains and cast-iron bases are stored and must be thoroughly inspected before being painted. Deburring consists of removing small, sharp metal protrusions, glass sand residues and chips from the metal parts after machining. It is therefore of great importance to remove them. This is done with a small grinding machine, a lot of know-how and precise movements.
