In the extreme south of Corsica, the tip of Sperone is a limestone overhang with 10 m high cliffs. This ancient emerged coral reef is a jewel surrounded by maquis and turquoise water. Two ponds take shape on the coast, the pond of Pianterella and the pond of Sperone. Between two rocky outlets, the beach of Petit Sperone faces the Piana island, forming the paradisiacal lagoon of Piantarella.
