The old city of Grasse was built on a hill. It is full of buildings of great heritage interest, like the Notre-Dame-du-Puy Cathedral, built in the 13th century. Its 111 feet (34 m) high square bell tower, added in the 17th century, is clearly visible in this photo. Not far away on the right, the clock tower takes on the ochre shade of many buildings of the city centre.
