Luxembourg-Ville ( Luxembourg ) . La Pétrusse prend sa source dans la forêt du Dippecherboesch sur une hauteur d'environ 300 m et pas loin de la ferme Bouferterhaff. Elle passe par Bertrange, Helfent, Merl et Hollerich avant de traverser la très belle vallée de la Pétrusse, profonde de 50 mètres. Dans le quartier Grund de la ville de Luxembourg la Pétrusse, après 11 kilomètres de parcours se jette dans l'Alzette.
