La traversée de Joshua Park

Niché entre le désert de Mojave et le désert du Colorado, Joshua Park tient son nom des yucca typiques d’Amérique du Nord mais plus précisément à la croisée des états de Californie, de l’Utha, du Nevada et du Colorado. Ces yuccas, si particuliers, se retrouvent principalement dans la partie du désert de Mojave entre 600 et 1800m d’altitude. Ne poussant que d’une dizaine de cm par an le plus grand spécimen atteint malgré tout la taille respectable de 13m !
