The tradition of the Rasse family

Georges Rasse, the current owner and operator of the Hautes Collines vineyard, perpetuates a family heritage. His father René started his business delivering bunches of late Saint-Jeannet table grapes at Christmas to the large seaside hotels. He then supplied the first uvales stations (related to grape) with juice before establishing his own vineyard in 1948. In 1986, Georges Rasse took over the plots of Merlot, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Gamay planted by his father. For 35 years, he has been blending the different grape varieties and managing the last vineyard in Saint-Jeannet.
