Senlis ( Oise ). Il est de tradition d'élaguer en automne, après la chute des feuilles, quand les arbres sont au repos, mais avant qu'il ne fasse trop froid et surtout qu'il ne gèle. Toutefois, on élague de plus en plus en fin de printemps et en été, parce qu'on s'est rendu compte que la cicatrisation était plus rapide à cette période.
