Aujourd'hui, il est uniquement possible de gravir' la Tour Eiffel en empruntant ses escaliers pour aller de la base au 2ème étage. cela représente 674 marches, soit l'équivalent d'un immeuble de 33 étages (un étage d'immeuble représentant en moyenne 20 marches) A partir du 2ème étage, l'escalier est fermé au public, mais, la Tour Eiffel compte en tout 1665 marches du parvis à son sommet.
