The Church of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie is dedicated to Saint-Cyr, who gave his Cirq to the village's name, and Saint Julitte, his mother. The old Romanesque parish church is later encompassed by the Gothic church, which is erected from 1522. It still holds remains of its acanthus leaf carved decoration from the 12th century and fragments of wall painting from the 13th century. At the foot of the bell tower, an old stone measure can still be found. It regulates the sale of grain on the market.
