Located fifteen minutes from Embrun, Boscodon Abbey is the only abbey in the Hautes-Alpes and one of the most visited sites in the department. This 12th-century Romanesque abbey was listed as a Historical Monument in 1974 on the initiative of the Société d'Etude des Hautes-Alpes. It is currently managed by the community of Saint-Dominique and the Association des Amis de Boscodon, which has worked on its restoration for more than forty years and has set up a rich program of cultural events within the abbey.
