The Seille, a regular river
0
0
The river Seille takes its source at the bottom of the blind valley of Ladoye-sur-Seille, not far from Baume-les-Messieurs in the Jura department. It is, in the upper part of its course, a fairly calm river which can overflow from its bed in spring when the snow melts. This rather regular river has an average multiannual hydrological flow of 101 cubic feet / second (30.80 m3 / s) at Louhans, just before its 24 miles (39 km) developed and navigable section which joins the Saône.
