The hunting trophies room
0
0
The Haut-Kœnigsbourg is filled with Kokelhofs, typical Alsatian decorated tiled stoves. The green earthenware in the hunting trophies room was recovered from the castle's ruins at the beginning of the 20th century. Next to it is a painting of the Thierstein family's coat of arms, who occupied the fortress from 1479. They actively participated in its enlargements. Everywhere on the walls, deer antlers, marked with a W, for Wilhelm II, alternate with floral paintings.
