The Villa Majorelle was partly renovated in February 2020. The Nancy School was entrusted with trying to reproduce the atmosphere and decor of the time of its construction. The color of the walls and ceiling created numerous debates. A new patina was found, which corresponds to the fragments of wallpapers discovered under the layers of paint. Pieces of blue ceramic friezes were conserved in the conservatory, where the architect Henri Sauvage based his work on the openings. Depending on the rooms, he used semicircular arches, low arches, or tall windows.
