Harvesting grapes in Burgundy
0
0
In Burgundy, during the month of August or September, the harvest can begin. The harvest is usually done by hand by seasonal workers. Equipped with secateurs, they cut the tail of each bunch and put it gently in a basket. The harvest generally lasts from 10 days to 3 weeks depending on the size of the vineyard, the weather conditions and the maturity of the grapes.
