La Pyramide de Nohoch Mul, Cobá - Mexique

Le site de Cobá est le plus grand site maya de la péninsule du Yucatan, rivalisant avec le site de Chichen Itza. La ville s’étendait sur 70km2 et comporta jusqu’à 50 000 habitants. Le temple fût construit entre 200 et 600 après J.C. et constitue une des plus hautes pyramides (30 mètres) que l’on peut monter à ses risques et périls par cet escalier raide aux marches énormes et bien usées.
