Part of the work of Charles Julien, an agent at the Heritage and Archeology center of Vaison-la-Romaine, consists in redoing the tops of the walls of the excavated remains of the La Villasse and Puymin sites. Here, he endeavors to restore the walls of the sumptuous Maison au Dauphin (Dolphin House). Charles Julien waterproofs the walls in order to protect them from bad weather and water by making a whitewash covering that he applies with a trowel on the top of each wall.
