The Templars' door

Orient Lake's forest was part of a 2,965 acres area (1,200 ha) on which the Templars established a commandery, the Loge Bazin, in 1255. The memory of the site has left its mark and continues to fuel imagination today. To escape the agents of King Philip IV the Fair of France, the Templars would have fled through a door hidden in the forest, near a fountain. The legend tells that it opened on the fourth dimension. Some are still looking for the door today.
