Guinea fowls live in noisy flocks of several dozens of birds. With their blue head, their red wattles and their helmet, they are an emblematic bird of the African continent and can adapt to many types of habitat. They spend most of their time on the ground, and go up in the trees for the night. They do not fly very often, and only on short distances if they feel threatened.
