The Philharmony of Paris was created by architect Jean Nouvel. Its hull covered with aluminum birds and its metallic mesh give it sometimes the shape of a spaceship, sometimes that of a temple. The roof is inclined at 30% and nearly sixty beams support it. The new High Environmental Quality (HQE) standards such as energy, water, maintenance and acoustics were taken into account during the construction of this revolutionary building.
