Louis Majorelle was fond of honesty flowers, also called Pope's money in French. They are, therefore, represented everywhere in the Villa Majorelle, including on the stained-glass windows by master glassmaker Jacques Gruber. The generous curved lines of the floral motifs are representative of nature as fantasized by the Art Nouveau movement. Stenciled Pope's money decorations have also been found in the vestibule and stairwell of the house during renovations.
