The memory of cast-iron art

Vice-president of the departmental council of Haute-Marne until 2015 and mayor of Saint-Dizier from 2017 to 2020, Élisabeth Robert-Dehault dedicates herself to reviving the heritage of her region. She recently had archaeological excavations carried out on the Crassées site in Saint-Dizier. The discovery of furnaces from the 11th and 12th centuries rewarded her attachment to the history of foundries in the Grand Est region. Élisabeth Robert-Dehault is also president of ASPM, an association that aims to protect and inventory all works of art related to cast iron in France and worldwide.
