Since its inauguration in 2014, the Louis Vuitton Foundation has resembled a mineral sailboat on the edge of the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris. The innovative and creative building designed by the American architect Frank Gehry is intended to be a haven for modern and contemporary artistic creation. The Louis Vuitton Foundation aims to bring together all audiences and organises an international exhibition of modern art and another of contemporary art each year. Its “Hors les murs” programme also promotes its collections, which have never been exhibited before, in the main capitals of the world.
