Inside the museographic space of the Interpretation Center of the MuséoParc Alésia, the public can attend the siege of Alésia by choosing a formula combining a film and an animated model of the theater of operations or a more classic formula documented by simple plans and models. Alisian archeology has also made it possible to reconstruct the castrametation and, in particular, the typology of the tents and the way they were installed on the ground. Models evoking the most representative sites of the Caesarean system around Alesia (the Roman investment lines of the plain of Laumes and Camp C) are also on display. Finally, other models illustrating the operation of the main war machines attested in Alesia complete the familiarization with the context of the battle, the forces present, and their tactics.
