Learning about the Neanderthal cave site at La Cotte with University College London. Neanderthals lived here at various times during the Palaeolithic, a time where sea levels were low enough that Jersey was connected to France. Neanderthals at this site would have looked out into a vast open plain, rather than the bay and channel we see today.
