The celebration of a medieval past
0
0
In recent years, Sainte-Agnès has paid homage to its past by organizing a medieval festival within its walls. For a weekend, the village's alleys go back to the time of the knights, when the counts of Provence faced the Genoese to take over Sainte-Agnès and its feudal castle coveted by all. They come alive through street shows, fights, scenes of everyday life, workshops, and ancient crafts. A giant treasure hunt even invites tourists and residents to wander through the village in search of clues to access the treasure of Sainte-Agnès.
