Burgundy benefits from several factors favorable to wine growing. It is exposed to a semi-continental climate. Its sunshine and high temperatures in summer favor the maturation of the grapes. Finally, the vineyard plots reaching an altitude of 200 to 500 meters allow a resistance to frost and a natural protection against winds.
