The GR30 loop

Lake Servières extends inside the GR30 loop. It marks a route of 123 miles (198 km) over nine days starting from Mont-Dore and leading to the discovery of some of Auvergne's lakes, including those of Guéry, Chambon, or Lastioulles. Shaped by volcanic activity, these crater, dam, or peat bog lakes are quite numerous in the Sancy massif in the Puy-de-Dôme department.
