Although no longer exploited in the municipality of Roussillon in the Vaucluse department, ocher continues to provide it with numerous visitors. The Sentier des Ocres (Ocher Path) starts from the village towards the southeast. This paying course is laid out, marked, and punctuated by educational panels explaining the flora (yeuses, white oaks, junipers) of the ocher hills and the colorful landscapes of the old quarries shaped by the combined action of man and erosion. A Conservatory of ochres and applied pigments completes the visit.
