The invasion of glass

René Lalique was dedicated to making what he considered beautiful accessible. It was in particular to develop tableware that he set up a factory in Winger-sur-Moder in 1921. The manufacture produced services in series, many of which bore the names of Alsatian cities such as Strasbourg, Mulhouse, or Colmar. René Lalique massively brought glass into daily life and created unique pieces and more affordable series that invaded the tables and salons worldwide.
