A wintering site for aquatic birds
0
0
From its creation, Madine Lake became a favorable site for wintering birds and raptors dependent on wetlands, such as ospreys and harriers. From September to April, the autumn migrations, winterings, and spring migrations of grebes, swans, and mallard ducks follow one another on the lake's waters. Each year from October 15th, the extension of the quiet areas to the south of Madine Lake ensures tranquility for migrating and wintering birds. Access there is forbidden to the public.
