The Verrerie de Biot received the honorary title of the most visited company in France with 580,000 visitors in 2019 according to Enterprise et découverte, a national association bringing together tourism professionals. Open to the public since 1956, the workshops of the glassblowers have largely contributed to the reputation of the local glassware production. The site of the Alpes-Maritimes department has also been put forward internationally by the artists of the neighboring Cannes Film Festival.
