Australia discovers the world's largest plant!

A team of researchers from the University of Western Australia have found the largest plant on the planet. She is in Australia. In the seabed off Perth (Western Australia), one and the same plant occupies an area with a width of 22,000 hectares. This is an Australian Posidonia, a species of seagrass in the Posidonia family. This one and the same plant is a valuable habitat for sea turtles, crabs and fish.
