The traditional hitch
0
0
Traditional horse driving is a hitching discipline particularly highlighted at the Haras National du Pin in the Orne department. The horses there are harnessed to a carriage that must be ancient and in perfect condition. These teams are integrated into suitable settings such as castle parks, large National Stud farms, or historical sites. The crew consists of a leader and a groom dressed in parade clothes. The traditional hitch, visible in this photo, is a pair hitch with two horses placed side by side.
