Casting is an art in itself, and the mastering of its techniques requires time and patience. Years of learning and countless repetitions of the same gestures are necessary. The Conservatory of Metallurgical Arts in Dommartin-le-Franc tells the history of casting. The site has recently signed an agreement to create training courses to perpetuate the tradition of Haute-Marne foundries through the younger generations.
